Ken says he is most proud of the opportunities to give back that his career has given him, including raising 2.2 million dollars in 10 days, which he gave away on The Oprah Winfrey Show toward finding a cure for a children’s disease, Epidermolysis Bullosa.

Ken's hairstyling work and his philanthropy have become intertwined. For the past 12 years, he has served on the board of Bright Faces, a global medical organization dedicated to helping children with significant facial deformities. Not only has Ken provided free wigs to women in need through his award-winning hair extension and wig line, but he has also been a strong advocate for various communities, including individuals with ALS and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community.
